When I first heard that there was a dog breed named Whoodle, I thought it must have been created by Dr. Suess!
A Whoodle is a cross between a Standard Poodle and a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Whoodles from Ali Doodle's Whoodles are always a true 50% mix of an AKC Registered Standard Poodle and an AKC Registered Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. The Whoodle is not a breed that is currently recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC). Therefore there are no true standards for Whoodles. Our goal at Copper Sky is to set Whoodle standards by providing the highest quality Whoodles available. We do not breed Poo this or Poo that. The Whoodle is the only puppy that we provide and we aim to be the best in the business. One of our standards is that Whoodle tails are not docked. Many countries have already banned docking tails for humane reasons. The Whoodle has a perfectly beautiful tail and we see no reason to put our puppies through the pain of having their tails chopped off. We do remove dew claws as it is a very simply thing to do when a puppy is just 3 to 4 days old. If the dew claws are not removed, there is a high risk that they will be broken off as an adult which can be very painful and lead to an infection.
